Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will handle daily accounting tasks, assist in financial recordkeeping, prepare accounting reports, and manage reconciliations. Responsibilities also include supporting month-end closing processes, monitoring accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role involves collaboration with the finance team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial record management
  • Experience with reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable tasks
  • Skill in using accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP or any other)
  • Advance Excel for reporting system is must
  • Should have worked on Government Portal for State & Central Tax system( TDS,GST/GSTR,PF etc..)
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA
  • Experience in bookkeeping & an accounting role is a plus
