Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Design cum Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, performing heat load calculations, and preparing cost estimates for projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare HVAC system designs, including ducting, piping layouts, and equipment selection as per project requirements and standards.
  • Perform heat load calculations, ESP calculations, and equipment sizing using relevant software/tools.
  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimation, and tender documentation.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for design clarifications and approvals.
  • Assist in preparing technical submittals, compliance statements, and shop drawings.
  • Provide engineering support during project execution to resolve design/estimation-related issues.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for cost, efficiency, and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–6 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, Carrier, or other HVAC design software.
  • Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other relevant codes/standards.
  • Experience in cost estimation and preparation of BOQs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
