Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role based in Kozhikode. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, creating and refining menus, ensuring the highest food quality, and managing staff performance. Key responsibilities include inventory management, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure consistent availability of ingredients. The role also involves staff training, resource planning, and staying updated with culinary trends to deliver innovative dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Menu Development, Culinary Arts, and Food Presentation
- Strong skills in Kitchen Management, Budgeting, and Inventory Control
- Proficiency in Leadership, Team Management, and Staff Training
- Knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene Standards, and Regulatory Compliance
- Experience with Vendor Management and Cost Optimization
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen is a plus
