POWER BI Developer

  • BI Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Power BI solutions.
  • Define the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure integration with existing data platforms, warehouses, and cloud services.
  • Dashboard & Report Development
  • Develop, manage, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations.
  • Optimize performance and usability of reports for end users.
  • Data Modeling & Integration
  • Create and manage data models using DAX and Power Query.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure data readiness.
  • Provide training and support to Power BI users across the organization.
  • Governance & Best Practices
  • Establish and enforce Power BI development standards and governance policies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Promote self-service BI while maintaining control over critical data assets.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
  • Recommend improvements to existing BI systems and processes.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new BI tools or methodologies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Power BI development and architecture.
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
