The IPDRG-Coder/Quality Analyst is responsible for accurately coding inpatient claims and ensuring the quality of coding practices within the organization. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of coding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of IPDRG claims.
  • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct quality audits on coded data to identify discrepancies and improve accuracy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues.
  • Provide training and support to junior coders and staff on coding practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in coding standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in IPDRG coding and medical terminology.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
