Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site News Reporter role based in Kolkata. The News Reporter will be responsible for gathering and verifying news, preparing accurate reports, and presenting stories across various platforms. The role also includes covering politics, conducting interviews, and writing press releases and articles. Collaboration with editors and production teams to ensure timely and impactful news delivery will be an essential aspect of this position. Candidates must excel in meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high journalistic standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Reporting, Journalism, and News Writing
  • Experience in preparing Press Releases and professional Writing
  • Excellent research, communication, and storytelling abilities
  • Familiarity with media ethics, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the Hindi-speaking regions and their socio-political environment is advantageous
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
