Job Description

Principal Engineer
, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions that power our global platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build APIs, optimize performance, and lead the development of key modules using modern technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about clean code, architecture, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop APIs based on application specifications and business needs
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions for key modules using Python and Django
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Test, deploy, and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability
  • Continuously refactor and improve existing software using industry-standard principles
  • Collaborate in requirements reviews and contribute to technical planning
  • Document code and processes throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Implement multi-tier software architectures using modern technologies
  • Monitor live systems and optimize performance proactively
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful IT solutions

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong foundation in backend engineering
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Django, building scalable web applications
  • Proficient in database technologies including PSQL, RDS, and SQL Server
  • Experienced in DevOps practices, especially Continuous Delivery and CI/CD pipelines
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and its integration into software systems
  • Bonus: Experience with Java and GoLang is a plus
