About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Physical Verification Engineer to join our team and work on advanced ARM CPU implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in physical verification (PV) and closure, with hands-on experience in debugging and achieving design sign-offs. You'll work closely with the Physical Design (PD) team to ensure smooth execution of PV processes and deliver high-quality, verified designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage physical verification (PV) checks, issue fixing, and sign-off activities.
  • Execute and analyze PV checks including DRC, ERC, LVS, DFM, Antenna, and PERC.
  • Address EM/IR drop and noise issues during the ECO phase.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Design team to debug and resolve PV issues.
  • Ensure PV closure and DRC sign-off based on PNR markers.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of physical verification flow and debugging processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Mentor Calibre, Innovus, and Synopsys tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, PERL, and TCL scripting for automation.
  • Experience in hard macro/core finishing and sign-off activities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
