Job Title: Finance & Accounts Head Manufacturing / MSME

Location: Delhi / NCR

Reporting To: Owner / Management

Role Summary: We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts Head to own all financial, accounting, and cost-control functions for our manufacturing and machine leasing business. The person will handle daily accounts, GST compliance, audits, budgeting, cash flow, funding, and ensure cost control across procurement and inventory. The role also includes MSME/Udyam scheme familiarity, subsidy monitoring, and vendor cost oversight.

This is not a desk-only role — you will coordinate with accounts staff, field procurement, store, vendors, and consultants, and be fully accountable for the numbers and financial controls of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Compliance

  2. Own daily billing, ledger maintenance, and accounts reconciliation

  3. Prepare and review GST/TDS returns and ensure timely filing
  4. Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
  5. Monthly P&L statements, Balance Sheets, MIS reports
  6. Audit coordination with internal team and external CA / consultants

  7. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, EPFO/ESIC, Income Tax)

  8. Financial Control & Cost Management

  9. Approve and monitor all purchase payments

  10. Maintain control over vendor costs, rates, and procurement pricing
  11. Track inventory, purchase costs, and analyze variances
  12. Identify cost leakages, prevent inflated or commission-added pricing

  13. Conduct internal audits of purchases and inventory records

  14. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  15. Coordinate with Field Procurement Staff for sourcing raw material and spare parts

  16. Ensure price verification and approvals before payments
  17. Maintain vendor rate cards, benchmarks, and historical price references

  18. Liaise with suppliers and vendors on payment, delivery, and quality issues

  19. Funding, Loans & Schemes

  20. Prepare loan proposals, CMA data, and financial documentation for banks / NBFCs

  21. Coordinate with consultants / CA firm for government subsidy applications
  22. Maintain knowledge of MSME / Udyam schemes and ensure compliance to avail benefits

  23. Track disbursement timelines, approvals, and post-approval requirements

  24. Team Leadership

  25. Supervise Accounts Executive and Field Procurement Staff

  26. Delegate routine work while ensuring accountability
  27. Build structured processes and controls for finance, inventory, and purchase monitoring

Required Qualifications & Experience - B.Com / M.Com in Finance / Accounts (MBA-Finance good to have, not mandatory) - 6–10 years experience in manufacturing / MSME accounting & finance - Hands-on with Tally Prime or similar ERP - Proven experience in GST, payroll, audits, cost control, vendor management - Familiarity with MSME / Udyam processes, subsidy schemes, and government benefits - Experience in loan proposals, working capital, and bank coordination

Key Competencies - Strong ownership mentality — capable of doing and checking work - Attention to detail and ethical integrity - Ability to analyze cost & financial data for decision making - Excellent communication with management, vendors, and banks - Hands-on and comfortable with daily operational accounting tasks

Reporting / Accountability - Reports directly to Owner / Management - Responsible for all financial, accounting, and cost control outcomes - Final authority for internal finance approvals (within delegated limits)

Salary - 60,000 – 80,000 per month (Delhi/NCR) based on experience and capabilities
