About the Role

As a Senior Azure Developer, you'll play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of Kasava's cloud-hosted systems and applications. You'll leverage your expertise in C#, .NET, and Azure SQL to build scalable, reliable, and performant solutions that power our vehicle management ecosystem.

You'll be responsible for both application development and data engineering within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem — bridging the gap between backend APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using C#, .NET Core, and Azure services.
• Architect and optimize cloud-hosted databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.) for performance and
• scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and background services for data processing and integrations.
• Implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) within Azure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, data engineers, and product teams to deliver
• cohesive solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and availability, applying strong principles of security, backup, and disaster
• recovery.
• Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, using Azure tools and metrics for proactive issue
• resolution.

• Contribute to technical documentation, architectural decisions, and mentoring of junior developers.

• You are a highly experienced developer who thrives on building performant, reliable, and innovative cloud solutions. You balance technical depth with strategic thinking and are passionate about leveraging Azure technologies to drive business success.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET (Core or later) frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Services (App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault,
• Azure SQL, Service Bus, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL Server / Azure SQL Database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, asynchronous programming, and microservices
• architecture.
• Working knowledge of cloud security, authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and API management.

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities for problem-solving and data handling.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Cosmos DB, Event Grid, or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) within Azure environments.
• Familiarity with Power BI integration, Data Lake, or ETL pipelines.
• Exposure to IoT solutions or vehicle telematics systems.
