We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate reporting to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory laws, and company policies.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
