We're Hiring: Social Media Manager Intern at WoowLocal

About WoowLocal:

WoowLocal is a hyperlocal marketplace platform dedicated to empowering local businesses in Tirunelveli. We offer 15-minute delivery, in-store pickups, and a seamless shopping experience through our app and WhatsApp commerce. Our mission is to connect local sellers with customers quickly and efficiently, promoting local commerce with modern technology.

We are expanding our team and looking for creative minds passionate about social media and digital branding

Position: Social Media Manager – Intern

Duration: 3 Months (Permanent after Job confirmation)

Location: [Remote/Hybrid/Tirunelveli Office – specify your preference]

Stipend: No Stipend (Internship Certificate & Letter of Recommendation provided)

Mode: Part-time / Flexible working hours

What will you do? (Roles & Responsibilities)

  • Create engaging social media content (posts, reels, stories) for Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn.
  • Manage daily posting schedules and maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Brainstorm and execute campaign ideas for festivals, offers, and local promotions.
  • Engage with the online community through comments, DMs, and brand interactions.
  • Monitor analytics and prepare weekly reports on engagement, reach, and growth.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams for creatives and ad campaigns.
  • Research trending hashtags, content ideas, and social media strategies to boost engagement.

Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn trends.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools).
  • Strong communication & creativity skills.
  • Ability to write captions and create engaging stories.
  • Passion for social media, branding, and local commerce.
