Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Work you'll do

The role requires working knowledge of professional Tax services and the end-to-end engagement life cycle. As a Senior on the Transformation team, you will collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders. Tax transformation projects span Business Threads, inclusive of tax compliance and advisory client service delivery for Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, and Indirect Tax services, as well as cross-thread activities such as initiating, managing and closing engagements.

• Decompose business requirements into functional requirements
• Collaborate throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
• Prepare business testing scripts and conduct business testing
• Conduct business readiness assessments
• Prepare learning materials and deliver learning by facilitating courses
• Drive adoption through change management and communication
• Plan deployment
• Provide hypercare
• Support pilots
• Analyze feedback and developing related action plans
• Develop and manage project workplans
• Manage projects
• Manage scope and timely delivery of business outcomes
• Identify risks, issues, change requests, and facilitate formal decision making
• Engage with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements
• Perform business process analysis and modeling
• Apply agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design
• Decommission legacy systems

The Team

The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added and efficient Tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying backgrounds ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including QA and Support. Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define standard client service delivery processes and standard delivery enablers that enable delivery of Tax services. Additionally, we collaborate on design, development, and deployment of technology to enable client service delivery. Members of Tax Transformation elevate Deloitte Tax Professionals, in order that they may provide higher value services to Deloitte clients, through identifying opportunities to streamline delivery, increase resource fungibility, improve ROI on technology investments, increase agility, and elevate the Deloitte and client digital experience. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design, deployment, and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model; sometimes there may be different shifts to drive US and USI workshops
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field, (Masters would be add-on).
• 5+ years of relevant experience and quality tax client service experience
• Good knowledge of US tax - Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, or Individuals
• Project management
• Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
• Process-driven thinking

Preferred:

• Agile delivery and design thinking experience
• Business process analysis and design experience
• End-to-end technology project delivery
• Training delivery and post-production client facing support experience
• Strong focus on deployment, adoption and driving change
• Assist in the development of a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms to maximize efficiency and streamline processes
• Experience in defining delivery standards
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel experience
• Experience with Onesource Income Tax
• Experience with GoSystem software
