POSITION : STAFF ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION : GOA

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or equivalent).

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared services environment or manufacturing industry.

It's a 5 days working from 10 to 7

Role :

The Staff Accountant (GL Role) will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end closing processes.

This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all activities related to Fixed Assets Accounting.

Perform Accruals postings and maintain supporting evidence.

Handle Intercompany Recharges and reconciliations.

Support month-end closure activities in cooperation with Controlling.

Provide backup support for customer settlements (AR Application).

Provide backup support for vendor payments processing in Kyriba & BNP.

Respond to and resolve internal and external queries via email & phone.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of accounting principles. Knowledge of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module.

Good interpersonal and service skills with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.

Additional Requirements: Organized and analytical mindset and ability to work independently and within a team.
