Senior Automotive System Tester (OTA & Infotainment)

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Automotive System Tester with 3-6 years of experience in the automotive domain. You'll focus on OTA (Over-the-Air) functionality and infotainment systems, ensuring high-quality software updates and seamless user experiences.

What You Will Do- OTA Testing:

    - Validate OTA update mechanisms, including A/B updates, rollback, and fail-safe behavior.

    - Test OTA campaigns, scheduling, and delivery.

- Infotainment System Testing:

    - Validate media, navigation, connectivity, voice assistants, and HMI features.

    - Ensure seamless integration of infotainment with vehicle systems (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

- Test Automation:

    - Develop test scripts for OTA and infotainment workflows.

    - Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Flashing & Test Bench:

    - Use Vector CANoe, DLT, and other tools for flashing ECUs and testing automotive systems.

    - Set up and maintain test benches for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.

- Collaboration:

    - Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

    - Communicate test results and status reports to stakeholders.

What You Need

- 3-6 years of experience in automotive system testing or a related field.

- Hands-on experience with:

    - OTA updates and mechanisms.

    - Infotainment systems (media, navigation, connectivity).

    - Flashing tools (e.g., Vector tools, UDS protocol).

    - Test bench setups (HIL, SIL, CANoe, DLT).

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

- SDLC process understanding.

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Bonus Points if you know

- Experience with automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet).

- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity and functional safety (ISO

- Scripting (Python, CAPL) and automation tools.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
