Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment.

Manage life-support systems, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and resuscitation.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and safety standards.

Communicate effectively with patients families about prognosis, treatment options, and progress.

Lead daily ICU rounds, review cases, and adjust care plans accordingly.

Train, guide, and support junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff.

Participate in quality improvement programs and continuous medical education.
