Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in the switchgear sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial product sales, strong leadership qualities, and a proven track record of achieving aggressive growth targets. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, driving revenue, nurturing key client relationships, and building a high-performance sales team.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the overall sales strategy aligned with company objectives. Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Lead, mentor, and build a strong team of regional sales managers and executives.
Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activities, and recommend action plans. Set and track sales targets for the team. Foster strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users.
Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product development teams to align offerings with customer needs. Monitor market trends and provide regular feedback to leadership. Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key account management.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events. Ensure CRM and reporting tools are updated with accurate sales forecasts and customer interactions. Key Skills & Competencies:Deep understanding of switchgear products (MCB, RCCB, DB, CHANGEOVERS, ISOLATORS), electrical panels, and related applications.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. High business acumen with strategic thinking abilities. Experience in B2B sales, project sales, and channel sales management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive targets. Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and support teams. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
MBA in Marketing or Business Management preferred. Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in technical/industrial product sales, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role within the switchgear or electrical industry.
