Role & responsibilities

  • Schedule and oversee daily production activities within the plant to ensure output targets and deadlines are met.
  • Manage and allocate manpower effectively, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for each production line and task.
  • Coordinate and supervise machine maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor production processes for efficiency, quality, and adherence to stablished standards and safety protocols.

  • Train and mentor production staff, ensuring they are proficient in their tasks and adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.

  • Implement and enforce safety regulations strictly within the production area.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience as a Works Supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing or production plant, freshers are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, machine operation, and maintenance principles.
  • Excellent ability to schedule and manage production activities under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in manpower management and team leadership.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using production management software/tools is a plus.
  • A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, is preferred.
