Job Family Definition:
Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization's profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
What you will do:
- Lead and oversee enterprise security operations, ensuring proactive monitoring and incident response.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures across systems and databases.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
- Collaborate with IT, DB Admins, and business stakeholders to secure infrastructure and applications.
- Drive compliance initiatives (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.) and ensure audit readiness.
- Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Mentor junior analysts and build a strong security culture across the organization.
- Partner with DB Admins to safeguard data integrity, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
What you will bring:
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Hands-on experience with database administration security (SQL, Oracle, NoSQL, encryption, access control).
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols, VPNs, and secure architecture design.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and present findings clearly.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a lead/managerial role.
