The Centre Head is responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Sunshine School Pre-School Centre. This role demands a dynamic, child-focused, and result-oriented leader who can manage academics, administration, parent engagement, and staff development to uphold Sunshine School's vision of holistic early childhood education.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

  • Ensure effective implementation of Sunshine School's pre-school curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, and classroom activities.
  • Drive innovation in early childhood learning through play-based and activity-oriented methods.
  • Organize events, celebrations, and child development programs.

Centre Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the pre-school centre.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain records related to admissions, attendance, and child progress.
  • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and facility upkeep.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor teachers and support staff.
  • Build a motivated and high-performing team aligned with the school's values.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training workshops, and performance reviews.

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and feedback sessions.
  • Address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Conduct parent orientation programs, workshops, and open houses.
  • Promote Sunshine School's values within the community to strengthen enrolments.

Business Development & Marketing

  • Support in achieving admissions targets and centre growth.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives to promote the pre-school.
  • Represent the centre at community events, fairs, and parent forums.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Early Childhood Education / Education Management (preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in pre-school / early years education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about child-centric learning and development.
  • Ability to balance academics with administration and admissions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.
