About the Role

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our software solutions. This includes everything from planning and technical design to development, testing, and implementation. You will be instrumental in ensuring our applications are technically sound and perform according to the high standards our internal and external stakeholders expect.

You will also be responsible for leading and participating in our development processes, including quarterly and sprint planning, and managing team activities to meet our business roadmap goals. Your leadership will ensure that development standards are upheld, technical designs are robust, and our team has the resources and guidance needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Standards: Lead the implementation of engineering and database standards and conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability and high quality across our codebase.

Technical Design: Work with business analysts to translate requirements into clear, cost-effective technical designs.

Team Management: Provide guidance and direction to other developers, ensuring they meet their responsibilities and have the tools and training they need.

Module Delivery: Take full ownership of module delivery, ensuring your team's work is well-documented, meets coding standards, and is delivered on time.

Day-to-Day Coding: Produce high-quality source code that meets technical standards, business requirements, and project deadlines.

What We're Looking For

Technical Competencies

  • Advanced skills in , TypeScript, React, and Express.
  • Advanced skills in NestJS.
  • Advanced skills in PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Advanced skills in creating and maintaining gRPC or REST APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong background in database design and development.
