ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SAP Business Development Manager (BDM) /
Vertical Sales Specialist (VSS) to spearhead strategic sales, partnerships, and growth initiatives
for our SAP solutions and services portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong
understanding of SAP products and ecosystems (such as S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Success Factors,
Ariba, and others), enterprise IT landscapes, and consultative selling methodologies. This role
involves driving revenue growth, building and nurturing client relationships, identifying new
business opportunities, and collaborating with delivery and presales teams to provide tailored SAP
solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets for SAP solutions and services.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring long- term engagement and satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with internal teams—presales, delivery, and marketing—to create customized SAP proposals and presentations.
Lead client discussions, demonstrations, and negotiations to drive deal closures.
Understand client business challenges and align SAP solutions (S/4HANA, BTP, SuccessFactors, etc.) to address their strategic objectives.
Stay updated on SAP product innovations, market trends, and competitor offerings to position the company effectively.
Work with cross-functional teams to manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract finalization.
Contribute to the development of strategic partnerships and alliances with SAP and other ecosystem partners.
Report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and business performance to leadership regularly..
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of SAP product portfolio, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Success Factors, Ariba, and related technologies.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing enterprise-level clients.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage at C-level.
Experience in managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into value-driven SAP solutions.
