Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Piping Leads / Piping Managers to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in piping design, 3D modelling, and multidisciplinary coordination, with the ability to lead project piping activities through a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Project Responsibilities

  • Collect inputs from various internal departments, validate them, and forward accurately to the 3D Modelling team.
  • Review Mechanical GA drawings, plot plans, and equipment layouts.
  • Perform piping studies including piping layouts, insulation, duct design, line numbering/line lists, pipe supports, MTO, PMS, VMS, battery limits, pipe sleepers, and pipe racks.
  • Conduct 3D model reviews and ensure tag closures.
  • Participate in HAZOP reviews and ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Work extensively with 3D Modelling platforms such as SP3D / E3D.
  • Communicate directly with clients as the piping lead for all ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely preparation and approval of DCNs, TQs, RFQs, and TBEs.
  • Manage design changes and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy of design, cost control, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Guide and mentor team members with proper work allocation and technical support.

Technical Experience:

  • Candidates should have strong domain expertise in:
  • Piping design for pre-treatment plants, clarifiers, filters, ion exchangers, UF, NF, RO systems, pressure exchangers, turbo chargers, lime slaking systems, cartridge filters, sumps/tank sizing, wastewater calculations, firefighting systems, nitrogen generation systems, and piping up to 2500 class.
  • Preparation and review of equipment lists, line lists, and line size calculations.
  • Engineering audits and technical validation.
  • Experience in WTP, WWTP, ETP, STP, ZLD, CPU projects.
  • Tools and Software: AutoCAD, SP3D, E3D, Navisworks, Stress Analysis software.
  • Experience with high-pressure pipeline design is an added advantage.
