Job Description:
The position is to support the departmental head and/or CFO in all aspects of the financial and accounting function and be responsible for all management, regulatory and statutory reporting. In addition, the role involves ad-hoc analysis, planning and special projects requiring detailed modeling to drive the decision-making of the BAUER Group board. The candidate must be comfortable driving deadlines among various teams.
Job responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
- Preparing, analyzing and monitoring budgets
- Identifying the business units key performance indicators
- Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
- Maintain internal control system
- Assist with budget preparation, deviation analysis
- Comply with relevant reporting requirements along implementation of upcoming reporting standards
- Preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting (predominantly under IFRS)
- Maintain Lease Rental Accounting for subsidiaries through a Software Viareport and support questions regarding IFRS 16
- Development of ad-hoc reporting and analysis and special projects
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI), US CPA, ACCA or equivalent
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accountancy and finance
- Experience in preparation of audited financial statements under IFRS
- Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of consolidating accounts
- A track record of improving processes and adding value to stakeholders
- Being flexible with working hours and additional workload
- Comfortable with databases and large amounts of data
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Demonstrate experience of successfully driving complex, milestone driven projects and carrying out changes across multi-country entities
- Ability to think both analytically and strategically to go beyond the numbers and to think logically about underlying business issues
- Personal drive and motivation to successfully handle multiple tasks; take initiative to improve your own performance, work intensely towards challenging goals
- Ability to travel
- Fluent in English
- Strong teamwork ethic
Salary and conditions
Salary: Will depend on experience and qualifications, but will be competitive and rewarding.
