Job Description

At least 5-10 years full-time professional experience supporting network, server, storage, and IT security.

  1. Firewalls and Security: End-to-end security in keeping the network secure and maintaining firewalls within the network.

  2. Networking: Knowledge of different types of networks and architectures (including WAN, LAN, Wifi Access points) and how they can be integrated into an existing system.

  3. Maintenance of Hardware and Infrastructure. Setup of Physical/Virtual server connections and racks, manually configure devices such as printers, or set up Ethernet ports.

  4. Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory administration, troubleshooting issues in DNS in a connected environment.

  5. Working knowledge of TCP/IP concepts, VLANs, Wireless Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management, and VOIP concepts.

  6. Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions

  7. Experience supporting conferencing and video conferencing solutions; Skype for Business, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams.

  8. Proficiency with shared storage technologies (NAS), Microsoft operating systems, Structured Query Language (SQL)

  9. Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies

  10. Strong ability and emphasis on automation where applicable; provisioning and patching of endpoints

  11. Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills, and follow-through

  12. Graduate Engineer with CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certifications preferred.

  13. Working knowledge of cybersecurity is required. Certification on ISO27001 Lead Implementer (LI) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) preferred.
