Job Description

Job Role: Manual Tester

Experience Range: 2-3 Years

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Mode)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This is a hybrid role, requiring both remote work and in-office presence as per business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes, results, and defect reports.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks within project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in manual software testing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various software testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
