GCP Data Architect 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures that support business requirements and objectives.
• Create and maintain data models and schemas for new and existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data models that meet both current and future business needs.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across multiple systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of data migration strategies and processes.
• Oversee the development of ETL pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Design data warehousing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Utilize big data technologies to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transition of data and applications to cloud platforms.
• Develop strategies for cloud data management, storage, and security.
• Analyze and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Implement best practices for database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
• Proven experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or similar) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with database performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for data management and deployment.
