Role Overview:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, with a strong focus on managing and optimizing courier partner relationships (80% of the role). This position will involve supervising multiple last-mile delivery partners, ensuring cost efficiency, operational excellence, and timely delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Courier Partner Management (80%)

  • Manage multiple courier and last-mile delivery partners to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely dispatch and delivery operations.
  • Negotiate rates, SLAs, and service terms with courier partners to drive efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor performance KPIs (TAT, RTO%, delivery accuracy, etc.) and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Billing & Authorisation

  • Review and authorise courier partner bills/invoices in the range of 2.54 crore, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for timely processing and payment of logistics bills.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and verify cost allocations.

Operational Excellence

  • Plan and optimise logistics operations to ensure efficient last-mile delivery and cost control.
  • Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams for smooth order flow and shipment tracking.
  • Implement process improvements and automation to enhance operational performance.
  • Analyse logistics data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with courier partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with courier partners to monitor performance and compliance.
  • Liaise with customer service teams to resolve delivery-related escalations effectively.
