About Role:

We are looking for a
Promo Writer
to craft compelling
short-form (2 minutes) and long-form (30–40 minutes)
video ad scripts for the
Crime/Thriller/Horror
categories. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who can hook audiences instantly, optimize scripts using data insights, and thrive in a performance-driven environment. You will work closely with our business and marketing teams to continuously refine ads that drive app installs, boost engagement, and deliver low CPI.

What You'll Do:

  • Write
    short and long-form ad scripts
    for platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube to promote our audio-series content.
  • Identify engaging themes and powerful story hooks that generate strong user intent.
  • Craft multiple high-retention scripts for maximum reach and performance.
  • Analyze performance marketing data to refine scripts and improve CPI, retention, CTR, and completion rates.
  • Participate in
    A/B testing
    to identify top-performing ad variations.
  • Tailor content to
    American audiences
    , ensuring cultural resonance and native platform feel.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years
    of experience in copywriting or content creation for performance marketing, social media ads, or long-form digital content (Crime/Thriller/Horror preferred).
  • Proven track record of writing
    high-conversion ad content
    across social media platforms.
  • Strong ability to iterate and optimize content using performance data (CPI, CTR, completion rates).
  • Deep understanding of
    American audience behavior
    and cultural trends.
  • Awareness of emerging trends on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, with the ability to create content that feels native to each platform.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both
    long and short-form writing
    .
  • Social media certifications are a plus.
