Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our Bangalore team. The ideal candidate should have 4-8 years of experience in design and development of embedded control systems or PLC using Codesys Structured Text. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with customers, gathering and understanding requirements, programming on PLC and display with Codesys V2.3 and V3.5, supporting development teams in Nashik, Nanjing with software testing, debugging and resolving complex issues independently during application development and sustenance, and developing system description and other related documents as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customer, gather and understand requirements.
  • Programming on PLC and display with Codesys V2.3 and V3.5.
  • Support development teams in Nashik, Nanjing with software testing.
  • Debugging and resolving complex issues independently during application development and sustenance.
  • Develop system description and other related documents as needed.
Requirements
  • B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Electronics and Communications with computer programming.
  • 4-8 years of experience of programming on controller firmware and IO drivers.
  • Proficiency in Codesys / Embedded C.
  • Knowledge in IO interface of the target hardware (PWM, ADC, DAC, Digital IO), electronic control systems, and communication protocols like CAN, J1939, CANopen.
  • Working knowledge on Matlab, hydraulic systems, heavy machinery, and object-oriented programming techniques.
  • Ability to document the design, specifications, test cases, and results.
  • Good communication skills with fluent English.
