Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Content Writer to create high-quality, engaging, and accurate content for Indian competitive exams such as UPSC Civil Services, SSC, Banking, Railways, and other one-day exams. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of general studies topics, current affairs, and exam patterns, and be able to simplify complex topics for aspirants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit clear, concise, and error-free content for:
  • Static GK, Polity, History, Geography, Economy, Environment, Science & Tech
  • Current Affairs and Editorial analysis
  • MCQs, quizzes, and mock test questions with detailed explanations
  • Answer writing practice material for UPSC (GS and Essay)
  • Study notes, summaries, and topic-wise capsules
  • Research and stay updated with the latest syllabus and trends in UPSC and other government exams
  • Develop SEO-optimized articles and educational blogs to drive organic traffic
  • Collaborate with subject experts, editors, and designers to deliver high-quality content
  • Ensure factual accuracy, originality, and alignment with exam standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Humanities/Political Science/History preferred for UPSC content)
  • Strong command of English (and Hindi if bilingual content is needed)
  • Familiarity with UPSC and One-Day Exams' syllabus and exam patterns
  • Ability to break down complex topics into student-friendly content
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital content formats
  • Good research skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Appeared in UPSC Mains or Interview stage (for UPSC-specific writers)
  • Prior experience with an edtech company or exam-prep platform
  • Knowledge of current affairs and use of government/PIB sources
