Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Design Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The Physical Design Engineer will work on various aspects of semiconductor physical design, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and integration. Responsibilities also include physical verification, timing analysis, and optimization to meet performance and design specifications. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Physical Design concepts including floor planning, placement, routing, and clock tree synthesis
  • Strong experience with Physical Verification, Timing Analysis, and Constraint Development
  • Expertise in EDA tools such as Synopsys ICC, Cadence Innovus, or similar tools
  • Understanding of semiconductor design flows and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in low-power design techniques and advanced technology nodes is a plus
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
