Reporting directly to the Plant Head – Quality, Ballabgarh, you are responsible for ensuring strict adherence to tire specifications on the shop floor. You troubleshoot defects and waste, develop and execute plans to reduce waste, and implement effective solutions for customer and field-related complaints. Your role is critical in maintaining product quality, driving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

What You'll Do

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
    Ensure adherence to Goodyear quality standards, GQMTS, and customer specifications. You develop, implement, and audit procedures that deliver quality products at optimal cost.

  • Process Leadership
    Lead the product quality process area, enforcing legal, technical, and material standards. You drive strategic development and foster a high-performance culture through organizational planning.

  • Continuous Improvement & Optimization
    Support business teams in implementing continuous improvement, OEE, and plant optimization initiatives. You collaborate with Pillar Team Leaders and contribute to the growth of Quality associates.

  • Corrective Action & Technical Support
    Ensure timely corrective actions and provide technical guidance to resolve issues effectively.

  • Technical Proficiency
    Advise on and develop new technical solutions to meet product requirements. You engage in cross-functional and external collaboration to drive innovation and ensure technology transfer.

  • Problem Solving
    Proactively identify and address complex technical challenges. You develop tools, strategies, and data analysis techniques to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Project Management
    Execute and advise on project planning, risk mitigation, and conflict resolution. You apply creative approaches and lessons learned to enhance project outcomes.

  • Organizational Development & Ethics
    Develop your own leadership and technical competencies while mentoring others. You model high ethical standards and contribute to building a technically strong and future-ready team.
