Immigration Caseworker

We are looking for an Immigration Caseworker, to join our Inida Team. The Immigration Caseworker will assist the Canadian Immigration Team on Permanent and Temporary immigration files.
Role & responsibilities
- Assist clients in the preparation and filing of immigration applications for Temporary and Permanent residence visas.
- Research requirements for immigration processes/documentation via internet, direct phone communication with visa offices, host country government authorities
- Prepare, organize, and submit standardized, well-written, and error-free support/sponsor letters and all appropriate forms in a timely manner.
- Interact with clients to obtain and complete documents required for visa applications.
- Review documentation provided by applicants for accuracy prior to delivery to representative for final review.
- Complete assessments of immigration requirements based on information provided by clients.
- Act as intermediary between representative and clients.
- Record keeping and managing all client data files within the company database and maintain confidentiality.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries regarding immigration requirements.
What you bring to this role:
- 2-3 plus years of Immigration experience preferred.
- College or University degree an asset.
- Knowledge of immigration practices and procedures an asset.
- Foreign/second language capabilities are preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to locate and research information efficiently, to use it effectively, and to evaluate the quality of the information.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate responsibly and promote effective working relationships.
Languages
- Knowledge of English,Hindi and Punjabi will be an asset.
