We are seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutors to deliver engaging lectures and provide academic support to undergraduate (UG) students in the field of Computational Biotechnology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education of future leaders in biotech while being compensated on an hourly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures on key topics within Computational Biotechnology, including but not limited to bioinformatics, data analysis, computational modeling, and systems biology.
  • Provide detailed and accessible explanations of complex topics to undergraduate students.
  • Facilitate discussions, answer student queries, and clarify doubts related to course material.
  • Prepare and present instructional materials, assignments, and exams as needed.
  • Provide regular feedback to students to track progress and encourage improvement.
  • Maintain a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Attend occasional meetings or training sessions as required.
  • Stay current with developments in Computational Biotechnology and integrate them into teaching materials.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or PhD degree in Computational Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of computational methods in biological research.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Passion for education and mentoring students in an academic setting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms is a plus.

Compensation:

This is an hourly position, with payment based on the number of lectures delivered and hours worked.
