Job Summary:

Utkarsh Small Finance Bank is hiring dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Officers to promote banking products and services, acquire new customers, and strengthen the bank's presence in the assigned region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates passionate about sales and career growth in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Acquisition & Lead Generation

  • Identify and acquire new customers for CASA (Current and Savings Accounts) through field visits, cold calls, references, and local market engagement.
  • Work closely with branch teams to generate leads from walk-in customers and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

2. Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Provide after-sales support and resolve customer queries promptly to enhance satisfaction.

3. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Promote and sell banking products such as Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Fixed Deposits, and Recurring Deposits.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth of the branch.
  • Plan and execute daily field activities to achieve consistent business flow.

4. Market Research & Business Development

  • Stay updated with local market trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct area mapping to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Participate in local promotional activities, campaigns, and events to enhance brand visibility.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure that all sales and onboarding processes comply with bank policies and RBI guidelines.
  • Accurately collect and verify customer documents (KYC, ID proofs, etc.) before account activation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer data, leads, and conversions in the bank's CRM system.

6. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with branch staff and internal departments for smooth processing of customer requests.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on leads, closures, and field activities to the reporting manager.
  • Share market feedback and performance updates regularly to improve operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Up to 30 years
  • Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (No backlogs)
  • Experience: CASAsales experience in the local market preferred
  • Local Preference: Candidates residing within a 10–15 km radius of the branch
  • Two-wheeler: Mandatory

CTC & Benefits:

  • Fresher: ₹2.42 LPA (Net Salary ₹15,000) – Executive Grade
  • Experienced: Up to ₹4.00 LPA (based on relevant experience)
  • Incentives: Up to ₹15,000 per month
  • Benefits: Travel Allowance, ESIC, PF, and ₹1 Lakh Medical Insurance
