Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dietician to join our Medical College & Hospital (VIMS) in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients, medical staff, and students to promote evidence-based nutrition practices and develop individualized dietary plans, particularly for those with medical conditions.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an academic medical setting that combines clinical care with medical education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for in-patients and out-patients.
  • Design and implement therapeutic diet plans for patients with chronic and acute conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on diet and lifestyle modifications
  • Monitor patient progress and revise dietary plans as needed.
  • Participate in medical rounds, case discussions, and clinical teaching sessions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of dietary records and reports
  • Contribute to nutrition-related health awareness programs and hospital campaigns.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or related in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Clinical Nutrition.
  • 2-6 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and medical nutrition therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Dietician (RD) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a teaching hospital or medical college setup.
  • Familiarity with NABH guidelines related to hospital dietary services.
