What you'll do

  • Build and scale backend services in 
    Python
     and 
    Java
     (yes, rare combo )
  • Ship APIs/microservices that power loan workflows, scoring, and payments
  • Own features end-to-end: design → code → test → deploy → monitor
  • Work closely with founders on product decisions and GTM feedback loops

Must-haves

  • 2–3 years
     of hands-on software engineering experience
  • Strong in 
    Python
     (FastAPI/Flask/Django) 
    and
     
    Java
     (Spring Boot/Dropwizard)
  • Solid grasp of 
    REST APIs
    , 
    SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
    , 
    Git
    , and cloud basics (AWS/GCP)
  • Pragmatic problem-solver with clean code habits and ownership mindset

Nice-to-haves

  • Queues/streams (Redis/RabbitMQ/Kafka), Docker, CI/CD
  • Exposure to data/ML pipelines or fintech/payments domains
