Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health by managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Audit Preparation: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support for audits.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of Years 4–5 years experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software Tally, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines effectively.
