Position Overview

The AMOS Super User is a technical expert and key driver for maximizing the use of AMOS within the Air India Express's engineering team. This role requires deep knowledge of AMOS modules used in airline maintenance and engineering and focuses on increasing system adoption and efficient usage by the business.

Key Responsibilities


•

Act as the primary AMOS expert within the engineering team, leveraging deep knowledge of AMOS modules to guide and support users.


•

Drive full utilization of AMOS capabilities by coaching, training, and encouraging best practices and consistent usage.


•

Collaborate with business leaders and IT to ensure AMOS workflows align with operational requirements.


•

Identify and close gaps in AMOS usage, helping overcome resistance and technical barriers.


•

Provide hands-on support and practical solutions to optimize AMOS integration into day-to-day engineering processes.


•

Liaise with AMOS vendor support and internal technical teams for issue resolution and continuous system improvement.

Required Qualifications


•

Extensive hands-on experience (minimum 3+ years, preferred ~5) with AMOS in an airline, MRO, or engineering environment.


•

Deep technical understanding of multiple AMOS modules including Planning, Engineering, Material Management, and Maintenance Execution.


•

Proven ability to lead adoption initiatives and empower users to maximize AMOS functionality.


•

Strong knowledge of airline engineering processes, regulatory compliance, and maintenance workflows.


•

Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications


•

Experience in AMOS consulting, system implementations, or major rollouts.


•

Familiarity with AMOS reporting, integrations, and data governance.


•

Educational background in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field.
