We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in , TypeScript, and command-line application testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, deep technical expertise in automated testing frameworks, and the ability to work across CLI tools and web interfaces (Nuxt-based).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for CLI applications and Nuxt-based WebUI.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks and tools using industry-standard technologies.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high product quality through proactive testing and early bug detection.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Investigate test failures and bugs, and work with developers to resolve them quickly.
  • Utilize your knowledge of networking and serial communication protocols to validate product functionality in complex environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile processes.
  • Document and report test results clearly and effectively, providing detailed feedback to the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, including extensive experience with and TypeScript.
  • 2+ years experience testing command-line applications/services.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing suites/frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Strong ability to write and maintain tests for both CLI tools and Nuxt WebUI.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and familiarity with serial communications (e.g., UART, RS232, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and cloud services.
  • Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or embedded systems testing.
