As a Senior Engineer at TJX, you will work with a team that partners with the Platform enablement team and delivers products for one or more customer analytics product teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the rollout of new analytics platforms by contributing to New Technology Assessments (NTA), aligning with security guardrails, and managing hyper-care phases.

· Facilitate smooth transitions of new platforms and tools into D&A Operations.

· Troubleshoot and resolve recurring challenges within the Power BI environment to ensure platform stability

· Coordinate upgrades of BI tools in non-production environments.

· Document upgrade processes and communicate rollout plans to D&A Operations for production deployment.

· Design and implement connectivity patterns for new data source types across BI platforms.

· Ensure compatibility, performance, and security compliance.

· Maintain detailed documentation in Confluence for all enablement activities.

· Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with D&A Operations and self-service analytics teams.

· Uphold and promote company-wide standards for analytics platform usage.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in tool adoption and data practices.

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)

· Over four years of engineering experience in Power Bi platforms and driving analytics enablement initiatives. Needed Solid understanding of architectural concepts alongside dashboard development and data modelling

· One Year experience Knowledge of the Microsoft Fabric platform including its components and how Power BI is placed within it.

· Over three years of experience in any of the BI tools including Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx, and ReportWorq

· Over four years of experience with end-to-end implementation of Reporting solutions.

· 3 years of experience working with Azure Blob, Synapse, ADF and Azure SQL

· 3 years of experience working in Azure environments, including connecting Power BI to data sources such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure SQL

· 2+ of programming with integration strategies, data profiling, and data migration

· 3 years of experience working in Agile and Scrum frameworks

· Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts clearly.

· Understanding of enterprise data architecture, security frameworks, and operational transition processes.

· Exposure to collaboration and workflow tools such as Confluence, Jira, and ITSM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

· Experience in building enterprise reporting solutions and leveraging Azure cloud architecture.

· Prior experience in migrating reports or workflows from Cognos to Power BI is highly advantageous

· Experience in Azure environments, including connecting Power BI to data sources such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure SQL.

· Exposure to Retail domain is a plus
