Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to lead the design and development of our apparel lines specifically for US customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the production of garments from initial sketch to final product.

Responsibilities:


• Research and analyze US fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify new design opportunities.


• Develop innovative and commercially viable design concepts and collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and target US customers.


• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for garments.


• Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.


• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.


• Oversee fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and drape.


• Maintain strong communication with US sales and marketing teams to gather feedback and ensure designs meet customer expectations.


• Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and sustainable design initiatives.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.


• 8-10 years of proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing designs for the US market.


• In-depth knowledge of US fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail landscape.


• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.


• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.


• Excellent sketching, illustration, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
