Location: Remote (with travel for projects as needed)

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled .NET Software Engineer with 3 years of experience in building secure, scalable, and high-performing web and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL databases, and a strong understanding of modern software development practices including DevOps and cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and C#
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend or third-party systems
  • Write clean, scalable code following best practices and design patterns
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
  • Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver quality software
  • Deploy and monitor applications using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure security, data integrity, and compliance within the application architecture
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and user guides as needed

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development with .NET (C#, .NET Core)
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and writing optimized queries
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework or Dapper ORM
  • Knowledge of source control tools like Git and workflows such as GitFlow
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with microservices architecture or containerization using Docker
  • Exposure to message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit
  • Microsoft Certification (AZ-204 or equivalent) is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning
  • Ability to work in agile/scrum environments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs
