Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Java Spring Boot Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications and APIs that power our digital products. The ideal candidate has strong backend development skills, a deep understanding of the Spring ecosystem, and a passion for building scalable and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, and Git
- Understanding of security best practices and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
