About the Role

Traveltekpro IT Solutions is looking for a highly detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our enterprise-level travel platforms.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for owning the quality assurance lifecycle across travel booking engines, supplier integrations, APIs, and live payment workflows. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders while mentoring junior QA engineers and driving QA best practices.

Travel domain experience and live payment gateway testing are strong advantages for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, PRDs, BRDs, API documents, and technical designs with strong attention to detail.
• Design, create, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for manual and automation testing.
• Independently estimate, plan, prioritize, and execute QA activities across multiple modules.
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, UAT, and exploratory testing.
• Execute end-to-end testing of travel booking flows, including:
• Search & availability
• Pricing, markups, and commissions
• Booking, confirmation, cancellation, and refund flows
• Perform live payment gateway testing (mandatory), covering:
• Credit/Debit cards
• Wallets / BNPL
• Payment failures, retries, refunds, and reconciliation
• Validate payment callbacks, webhooks, transaction status updates, and security scenarios.
• Test integrations with GDS, NDC, hotel suppliers, and third-party travel APIs.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using clickup ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact details.
• Participate in and lead defect triage meetings to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Develop and execute automation test scripts (if applicable) using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise QA standards, release quality gates, and testing best practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and review test cases and automation scripts.
• Track and report QA metrics such as:
• Test coverage
• Defect density
• Open vs closed defects
• Release readiness
• Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and testing efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, automation trends, and travel technology standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• + years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Live payment gateway testing experience is mandatory.
• Experience testing enterprise-scale web applications.
• Strong experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management.
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases and test plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Travel domain experience (OTA, B2B/B2C travel portals, flight, hotel, car, activities).
• Experience with:
• GDS / NDC integrations
• Hotel supplier APIs
• Pricing rules, markups, commissions, and cancellation policies
• Automation testing experience using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Exposure to multi-currency, multi-language travel platforms.
• Performance, security, or load testing experience is a plus.

Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per month
