Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Chandigarh, India. The Accountant will handle financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, maintaining financial data accuracy, and supporting financial audits. The role involves working closely with internal teams to oversee budgeting and expense tracking.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliation
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping processes
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and auditing practices
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally ERP, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of numerical data
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like CPA or CA are a plus
