Primary Responsibilities

  • Liaisoning and building relations with Central & State Govt. officials (Labour Commissioners – RLC, DLC, ALC, PF/PT/ESIC Authorities, etc.).
  • Consulting, counselling, and formulating organizational policies as per latest Acts.
  • Handling statutory & regulatory registrations and return filing.
  • Managing Contract Labour licenses and registrations under Shops & Establishment Act, Trade License, Payment of Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Employment Exchange Act, etc.
  • Handling inspections and audits from Govt. Officials for clients and internal requirements.
  • Drafting legal responses to notices issued by various Govt. Bodies.
  • Drafting and registering sexual harassment policies for assigned clients.
  • Managing ongoing compliance operations, client interactions, and team queries.
  • Preparing MIS reports and presenting compliance progress to clients and management.
  • Identifying compliance issues requiring follow-up or investigation.
  • Filing statutory returns within due dates.
  • Coordinating with corporate attorneys to address complex compliance issues.
  • Attending inspections conducted by PF, ESIC, LWF, Shop & Establishment, Labour Dept., etc. and providing necessary documentation.
  • Managing Contract Labour as per Contract Labour Act.
  • Coordinating with internal & external auditors during audits.
  • Monitoring and renewing contracts, licenses, and policies as per client and statutory requirements.
