BLG Technologies is hiring a Senior QA Engineer for one of our leading clients, Treebo Hotels ), a technology-driven hospitality brand redefining the guest experience through innovative booking, check-in, and property management systems.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of Treebo guest-facing and internal systems. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to build robust testing frameworks, automate test pipelines, and drive a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for microservice, web, and mobile flows.
  • Implement test automation frameworks for APIs, UI, and integration layers.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure feature completeness.
  • Perform manual and automated regression testing across multiple environments (staging, production).
  • Use Postman / Newman / REST Assured to test APIs (GraphQL & REST).
  • Identify, track, and prioritise defects; maintain visibility through Jira or similar tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS pipelines.
  • Participate in release validations, load testing, and performance benchmarking.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to establishing QA best practices and documentation standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

  • 3-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance for web or SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL queries).
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress for UI automation.
  • Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
  • Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) for data validation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools, Dockerised environments, and AWS deployments.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with micro-services and asynchronous testing.
  • Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Locust) or security testing.
  • Knowledge of hotel tech or OTA workflows booking engines, check-in automation, PMS integrations.
  • Previous experience in startup or high-velocity product environments.
