What You'll Work On

You'll take ownership of
KarmaKit
— the set of components that deploy, manage, and orchestrate CodeKarma's runtime instrumentation and collection systems.

Your work will include:

  • Custom Resources & Operators:
    Designing CRDs, controllers, and reconcile loops to manage instrumentation workloads dynamically.
  • DaemonSets & Agents:
    Building and maintaining Go-based collectors, instrumentors, and probes that run across Kubernetes clusters.
  • Workload Orchestration:
    Managing Kubernetes internals — pods, services, network policies, RBAC, and multi-cluster configurations.
  • UI Management:
    Enhancing and maintaining the
    KarmaDash
    admin UI for deployment and operational visibility.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Kubernetes internals
    (controllers, CRDs, Operators, networking, scheduling).
  • Proficiency in
    Golang
    , with experience in writing scalable distributed systems.
  • Understanding of
    Kubernetes resource management
    — DaemonSets, Deployments, ServiceAccounts, Helm, etc.
  • Exposure to
    telemetry, instrumentation, or observability
    systems (OpenTelemetry, eBPF, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with
    frontend development
    (React, TypeScript, or similar) for UI extensions.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a strong desire to learn in a
    fast-moving, high-performance environment.
